Finding Stocks for Intraday Trading: Trade Ideas Screener
What is Trade Ideas?
It is a platform that offers the widest set of tools for automating the search and analysis of assets using artificial intelligence. More details here.
What are Trade Ideas Streams?
These are daily broadcasts of Trade Ideas scanners, where the most active and potentially interesting stocks for trading are selected in real-time.
How It Works
We use the Trade Ideas analytical platform. We configure the scanners and filters ourselves. We conduct daily broadcasts on our YouTube channel, where we show the screen with filters and scanners.
When and Where Are the Streams Held?
The streams are held daily on the Fondexx YouTube channel, starting at 09:00 NY.
What Benefits Does This Give Me?
- We have unified the filters and scanners so that regardless of the strategy you use, you will get a complete list of the most interesting stocks for trading on the current day.
- You save time on filter development, coding, and independent stock search.
- You have the opportunity to select and analyze stocks without using third-party resources like TOS, Finviz, and TradingView. All you need is a trading platform with charts, and you can take the ready-to-trade stocks directly from the stream screen.
How to Use the Information from the Streams?
All watchlists are conditionally divided into 2 main groups, each of which has a more specific purpose.
a) Watchlists for tracking activity/interest on the current day:
- Pumps with a price under $15.
- Top Gainers — stocks that have risen significantly, with illiquid, ETF, and "junk" stocks filtered out.
- Top Losers — stocks that have fallen significantly, with illiquid, ETF, and "junk" stocks filtered out.
- Most Active — stocks with abnormal volume, with illiquid, random volume spikes, and other noise not traded by investors filtered out.
- Social Activity — shows the top stocks where activity in Stocktwits has changed. Thus, if stocks were not discussed and suddenly become actively discussed, we see them in this list. Usually, this includes events and pumps with sudden activity and volume (FOMO).
- Earnings today before the open.
- Earnings yesterday after the close.
- Postmarket/Pre-market Movers — stocks that have increased activity on the pre-market today or on the post-market yesterday.
- Additionally, there is a window with alerts that track intraday activity on M1. If activity suddenly increases in any stock, the ticker will appear in the alert window.
Examples of stock selection:
- Intraday trading: increased activity on M1.
- Stock selection: strong growth.
- Stock selection: pumps.
- Stock selection: social media activity.
- Stock selection: significant decline.
- Stock selection: earnings before the open.
- Stock selection: increase in activity.
b) Watchlists showing stocks that have had activity/interest recently:
- Recent pumps under $15.
- Recent pumps over $15.
- Report released in the last 5 days or week.
- Big Dump — stocks that have fallen significantly in the last 5 days or week.
- IPO — stocks that have been trading for only 1-2 months.
Are the Necessary Filters Missing in the Broadcasts?
If you believe your filters are more effective and allow you to find more potentially interesting stocks for trading, write to us in the chat with the tag #tradeideas. If the filter set you suggest is more effective than our scanners, we will definitely add it to the broadcast.
